Future: Great Bonuses and Green Benefits!

One of my favorite new banking apps this year is Future, a banking app that was once viral in Referral World but has been flying under the radar in recent months. It offers a $5 signup bonus when you fund your account with $10. If you fund using your debit card, Cash App, Venmo, or GPay, this $5 bonus is instant. Additionally, you'll get a $15 signup bonus when you spend $50 anywhere. You receive the $15 as soon as the transaction clears, which typically happens same-day or next-day. Future offers a free virtual card and $15 referral bonuses for each successful referral.
Referral World offers higher app-based banking bonuses, such as One Finance's "Spend $20, get $20" and Varo's "Spend $20, get $30", and MoneyLion's $10-$60 bonuses (no spend or deposit requirement for the $10 bonus). These are all great banking apps and promotions, and I also recommend those. Having said that, one of the things I like about Future is the unique perks it offers members. One such perk is cashback when you connect your utility accounts and lower your electricity/gas usage. Future gives 5%-10% cash back when you pay your utility bill using your Future Debit card (I received $6.11 from them for paying last month's electric bill). Other perks include 5% + $5 cash each week for riding public transportation in NYC, free meals at PLNT Burger, shopping secondhand, and more. These are perks I've not seen from other banking apps.
Split Drop Adds Venmo Payout Option and Promos!

Last week, I reported how Split Drop added Litecoin as a payout option. This week, Split Drop also added Venmo to the payout options with no transaction fee!
Split Drop has also added a few promotions:
1) March Madness - users can double their largest transaction through 4/8 by inviting 10+ friends (five or more need to cash out at least once by 4/8).
2) Top Referrer - Refer others between now and 3/31 at 11:59 PM EDT. The top three referrers will receive $100 (1st place), $50 (2nd place), and $25 (3rd place).
Split Drop also teased in its latest email that it is integrating a new offer partner, and that three new cryptos will be launching in the next week.
If you haven't signed up for Split Drop yet, you can do so here to earn a free spin valued between $0.05 and $250. Play games, complete surveys, offers, and more to earn cash quickly. Withdraw to PayPal, Litecoin, Venmo, and/or several gift card options. Payout is near-instant, and according to Split Drop, they're the highest paying GPT site, with over 80% of revenues earned awarded back to users (including the daily bonus, a percentage of Split Drop's revenues shared with each day's top 25 earners).
Zogo's Paid Subscription, Redemption Requirement Zinger!

You may not be familiar with Zogo. It's an educational app for teens and adults, rewarding them with pineapples (points) they could use to redeem gift cards to Amazon and other retailers. Zogo used to be one of my favorite apps. For the first year after I signed up, it was one of my favorite, most-used apps. They also offered a generous referral bonus program. However, they lowered the bonuses at some point from $0.75 to $0.25, also lowering the odds of earning larger rewards in their nightly "Pineapple Party." Due to those changes, I've always included in my primary referral list, but rarely promoted Zogo individually.
While auditing my apps this week, I attempted to redeem a gift card in Zogo but was met with a "Zogo Premium" screen preventing me from doing so. While it's still free to complete the lessons and earn pineapples, a paid subscription is required in order to cash out. Members can pay $4.99/month or a slightly discounted $49.99/year. According to a Reddit post I found while researching, Zogo introduced the paid membership requirement in October 2023. Members were supposedly emailed, though I double-checked and received no such email. One positive is that they restored the $0.75 bonus per referral.
I still recommend Zogo to anybody as an educational tool to learn more about saving, finance, investing basics, etc. But if you're looking for an app offering gift card rewards for your efforts, I recommend looking to other GPT apps/sites - such as Benjamin (code u2RSU3To97), Scrambly, Split Drop, Swagbucks, etc. - and cashback apps.
Revolut's New Referral Promotion!

Revolut just started another referral promotion. This one runs through 4/12/24 and earns members up to $110+ for each successful referral who opens a new account, connects a bank, orders the physical debit card, funds $30+, and makes three $10+ purchases anywhere!
Note that Revolut doesn't offer signup bonuses, only referral bonuses. You can receive up to five bonuses for each promotion they run (typically two promotions per month). For more details, see my featured post here.

Grifin Updates, Info to Avoid Unexpected Bank Withdrawals!
Thank you to everyone who signed up through me for Grifin during their weeklong $5 signup, $30 referral bonus promotion they ran last week. That promotion ended last night and has returned to their standard $5 signup and $5 referral bonuses.
For everyone who referred others during this promotion, congrats on your earned bonuses! I spoke with Grifin this morning and there are still referral bonuses en route, pending the $5 deposits clearing. These bonuses are expected to be processed and awarded between now and Thursday night.
Also, an FYI regarding Grifin's auto investments. Grifin is a micro-investing app that allows you to auto-invest on a per-purchase and/or weekly basis based on how you shop and the app's investment settings you have set. There are a few settings you'll want to make sure and modify to your specific preferences on how/when/if Grifin makes these auto deposits/investments. These settings are found by clicking the three lines at the top left of the app, then "Profile & Settings" > "Investment Settings" (in the "My Account" section):
Here's one example of settings where up to $20 will be deposited/invested into Grifin each Monday:
The investment amount is set to $1 per transaction
$1 for each transaction towards a publicly-traded business - i.e., Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart because the "Buy Stock Where You Shop" option is turned on (this setting is turned on by default)
$1 for every other transaction will be auto-deposited because the "Add to Investable Cash" option is turned on (this setting is turned off by default)
Up to $20 will be deposited/invested each week because the "Investment Limit" is set to $20/week (I'm unsure what the default setting is for this).
If you want to change how much Grifin deposits/invests, you'll want to change these settings. You can uncheck one or both checkboxes, set the per-transaction investment/deposit amount, and set a weekly or monthly limit (or even "no limit").
If you don't want anything auto-deposited or auto-invested, you'll need to uncheck both the "Buy Stock Where you Shop" and the "Add to Investable Cash" options (and perhaps also set the Investment amount and weekly limit to low amounts for added measure). Turning off all of these settings essentially defeats the purpose of the Grifin, which is to be a micro-investing, nest-egg, "set it and forget it" type of savings/investment app. But you'll want to set these options based on your preferences and, most importantly, what you can afford. A couple of Grifin members reported being unaware of this section and/or how it impacted the auto-deposits and/or investments. This resulted in Grifin auto-deposits they weren't expecting or accounting for.
Also, note that the referral banner is displayed inside the "upcoming investments" section. You will want to jot down your referral code and keep it handy to share with others. If you have the top two options turned off, your referral code will still be active, but you may not see it when you don't have one or more upcoming investments.

Apps Left Behind!
In Referral World, the more options one has for signup and referral bonuses, the better. For referrers, though, it can be difficult to give all of these apps and opportunities the attention they deserve. For instance, I've been referring a few apps like Grifin, MoneyLion, Split Drop and a few others pretty heavily, but there are so many other apps with great bonuses, too! Here are just a few that also have great bonuses but aren't promoted as frequently these days:
Current has been offering $50 signup bonus and referral bonuses for a few years, now. But it hasn't been getting as much attention as other banking apps, such as MoneyLion, Chase, and newer apps. That said, I earned another $50 referral bonus from Current last week, so there are still people in Referral World who don't already have it.
Varo's "Spend $20, get $30" is a larger bonus than, say One Finance's "Spend $20, get $20" promotion but isn't promoted by most due to it being an older, more saturated app. That being said, Varo has a 5-referral cap per year, whereas One Finance has a 10-referral cap (promo ends 4/30).
Swagbucks is one of the OG GPT and cashback sites. In fact, it was the first app I ever started referring, and it was my biggest earner until I signed up and focused more on referring other apps like Webull. These days, there are several similar GPT apps and sites, including Benjamin, FreeCash, InboxDollars, Scrambly, and Split Drop.
There are so many apps with bonuses worth signing up for and promoting! If you have apps you used to refer others to but don't these days, it might be worth adding one or two more to your posting rotation. Or, maybe create a larger list like I've done with my monthly referrals and similar lists.
