Back in July, I went on a family vacation to Jamaica. Specifically, we went to Montego Bay. This was a redo from last year, where I didn't get the chance to be with my family for our vacation in Jamaica due to some issues. Well, I'm happy to say that this year, we all made it to Jamaica and had a lovely time.
Most of our days consisted of either swimming by the pool or at the beach. It was a relaxing vacation as both my parents, myself, and my brother work. So, we didn't want to do much while in Jamaica. We ate dinner at our accommodation, had ice cream, and visited a restaurant that's famous for its connection to Usain Bolt.
My cousins, who live in Jamaica, even came to visit us with their new baby! It was fun, because they surprised us by showing up without telling anyone (except my mom). We all enjoyed each other's company until it was time for them to return home.
At the end of our trip, we all departed together but went on separate planes. My family was returning to Newark, while I was returning to Philly. We reminisced about our family vacation this year and wished we had more time. That's ok, because we have next year!
