I started jonaaronsandler.com to tell you about this change, about what went into it: the music, travel, family and catastrophic injury, the good and bad of living less boring. In the process of writing this story, I've learned I have to be vulnerable. But there's something about me, or the culture I grew up in, that makes every part of my body say NO whenever I try.
I'm afraid of becoming cheesy or melodramatic. I'm afraid to be seen as weak, or delusional, or worse, just not having what it takes. I'm afraid of the image of the actor who just never made it, the guy who talks about the career he almost had. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But after years of laying down with an injury, you really start to question everything. It took thirty years of writing and wanting to put my work out to be read before I had a reason to actually let it go. Now that I have, I just hope you enjoy it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ jonaaronsandler.com is the home for the stories of my life, but my work now includes Jon&Odie Comics, Clay Jon videos and now Online Literary Events like "Stories & Pierogis".
Check it out and if you like it, consider buying me a coffee.
Thank you for reading,
