I made a website to help fight the coronavirus!

I took on a challenge to design a landing page for a non-profit focused on fighting the COVID-19 coronavirus!

Foldingathome is a scientific project that runs simulations dedicated to discovering the structure of virus proteins and how they fold/misfold. This knowledge is key in developing cures and drugs to combat these diseases. However, running these simulations takes a lot of computer power.

To solve this issue, they have a software that the public can download and share computing power with Folding@home so that they can run simulations faster. The problem with their current website is that the structure and layout of the website makes it hard to find the necessary information to educate the public about what they do.

I've come up with a one page design to help the public easily understand how to run their software, how it works and what they do. I've made the copywriting more user-friendly, added more imagery to capture attention and included GIFs so that it's relatable to any type of audience. The call to action at the bottom is a link to the download section of their current website.
