Seriously, how is it the middle of August already?
I've been working on my current project little by little, and it's shaping up nicely. I was contacted by WebNovel to take part in their program, and I'm mulling that over. Not sure if I can commit to the weekly chapters, honestly lol I don't do well with deadlines. We know this keenly.
Things have been topsy-turvy in meatspace for me and my partner lately with physical health issues. My chronic pain and illness, plus their new problems getting progressively worse, have left us wondering what the future holds for us. We are making plans within plans (kudos to anyone who gets that obscure reference) for what we'll do in any contingency, and hoping that those contingencies never come to pass.
With that being said, I am still hedging on whether or not to make the High Priestess trilogy into one novel, or leave it as 3 separate but shorter stories. If I release them as one, I'm about 2/3 done with the first draft. If I release them separately, I have a second draft done for the first 2 books. So it really just depends on how the last section shapes up. We'll have to wait and see, really. Some steamy segments, some battles, some hard-to-write deaths, and a few tearjerker moments peppered in for good measure. That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh uh-huh.
