We are going in to our fourth year of home educating and loving it. It is very different choosing to home educate than what people have had thrust upon them during the pandemic. That was in no way reflective of many home educators experiences.
It was daunting at first for us as others seemed to have the perfect set up, structure and crafting stations. So we researched a lot of groups, other bloggers and have found some amazing people. We connect with local, national and international families. We may all have different styles of educating, opinions and budgets but the one thing that unites us is the well being of our family.
I am trying to give an overview of what we do – and why we do it in our home educating adventure. It will be very different from other home educators, BUT it is what works for us and our children. They are certainly not missing out on an education or socialization contrary to what others may think.
