I was a bit preoccupied with some things back around the 27th-28th of October, so instead of doing a Week End Update, I decided to do a Month Start Update.
Excuses aside... Here are some updates so far!
Shop Is Up
We’ve been holding off on the Threadless shop for so long, and we might as well open it up even with the limited selection just to force me to make more stuff. But yeah, there, that shop is up.
It’s just going to be a bit more time before opening up the Buy Me A Coffee offerings. More details below on that.
Things Might Go Slower And Differently
Well, things have been going slower, at least compared to before, when the website was pretty new, and the second channel was really new too. It’s mostly because until recently, I have no idea what I really want. It’s like I wanna do all the things, but I know I can’t because of limitations, bodily or otherwise.
Now I’m coming to terms with the fact that the biggest desire and tendency this person has is to not just share things, not just share trivia, but to actually help people understand things. While, honestly, I do not consider myself an expert on anything, what I do know I do like sharing. I guess that’s where the sharing part is and I just haven’t really admitted it.
With that said, I’m probably going to steer things into a more definite direction when it comes to the YouTube channels as well as the website. And to do that, I would have to curb myself from overthinking things and then rushing to put out something that doesn’t reflect any actual effort that was done with the thinking part. I guess I’m saying this since I’m kind of scared of several things, and it’s kind of a disclaimer/warning for those people who might expect the same kind of things that we’ve been putting out lately.
Then again, there’s no avoiding those kinds of people, and they’re not really our target, are they?
Anyway, so...
Serious video stuff, mostly regarding life and possibly educational things, are gonna be in the main YT channel and they’re not going to come out as fast as the ones in the second channel. There might also be art, but it might end up in the secondary one depending on context. Of course, writing work is going to be in the website, unless it’s they’re going to be offered in the Buy Me A Coffee shop, since those ones will take time and effort to make.
The second YT channel is going to stay, but we’ll be putting all the games and silly stuff there from here on out. Not just the comfies and long games. We’ll just put playlists there for the ones that are also included on the main channel, which we won’t take down and reupload, cause we feel it’s kind of cheating in the sense that it’s previously uploaded.
There’s also the thing with our art... As much as possible, designs on physical stuff are going to be on the Threadless shop, and designs for digital stuff are going to be on the Buy Me A Coffee shop. Hopefully all with the intention of spreading not only art, but also value for education, usefulness, and maybe some geekery.
Aside from that... Well, I’m not going to participate in NaNoWriMo.
