I'm in love with this story. I'm so excited for all the twists and turns and character dev I've got planned, not to mention the creatures of the Great Forest and the BETRAYAL. 😵 Ooh, gurl.
I've got a general outline and three chapters written thus far, and it's all I can think about. I'm constantly wondering how Sylvia will fare in her quest to save Eddie. How she will handle facing her mother, the evil Witch of the Woods, after a life of estrangement. How the villagers who've blamed her for her mother's acts will treat her when — if — she returns. How she'll survive after the losses I have planned for her (sorry, girl).
I'm most excited about this newly discovered, highly dangerous creature who even I don't have a name for yet. 🐺
It's nice when writing is fun, and not dreadfully stressful like it can be sometimes. I'm learning not to take it too seriously (duh), and lo and behold, that's when I get the most written — and have the most fun.
I'm so stoked.
