Hi, friends! As most of you know, Cody and I sold all our belongings and moved into a used RV last year. It's been a wild ride, with ups and downs like we never expected.

We've made it through record-breaking snow storms, popped tires, and desert ditches. We've shit in the woods, bathed in the forest, and drank water fresh from the stream — partially for the experience, but mostly because we live on a very strict budget and sometimes we can't afford TP or a shower. 🤷‍♀️ But we always try to stay positive!

To avoid spending $1,000+ on rent each month, we camp on forest roads or BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land, where it's free to stay for up to 14 days at a time. That means we have to move to a new location every 2 weeks. Which isn't too bad considering we want to get back to Georgia/Florida eventually to visit our fams.

But we've run into a bit of a pickle. 🥒

We're a week past our stay limit at our current location, and we're asking for help to move to our next spot near Seattle. I'm GROANING as I type this because asking for money is the worst. But anything helps and we can't express how much we appreciate the help we get.

Up until recently, we've been surviving on my editing income and the unemployment insurance I receive when work is slow. But a fraud hit in April caused the Georgia Department of Labor to halt payments (for two months and counting). I recently accepted a position as an editor at a publishing house (can you BELIEVE?! 🤩) but I'm waiting to hear back about my official start date and funds are looooow. $250 will help us put enough gas in the RV and car to get to our next spot, dump our poop tank and fill our fresh water tank, and buy some toilet paper, lol.

Anyone need a welder? A handmade corset dress from DragonCon? Check my FB Marketplace listings or shoot me a message if you'd prefer to exchange $ for goods! I can also offer personalized poems for $25 a pop. Thank you! 💖 http://ffnd.co/XH86b5
