So over the weekend it was a pleasure to be back at Great Yarmouth after three years since the last time I was covering the Sci-Fi Weekender thanks to the pandemic.
This year's event was packed with amazing guests to keep everyone entertained, a tribute to a dear friend that was taken away from us by COVID and a big surprise for me.
On the Awards night I was working the Red Carpet with my good friend Simon Dunkerley and later in the evening the accolade awards were about to take place.
The shock for me was that the first award for SFW Ambassador was me! Totally shocked, I've been supporting SFW for almost 10 years and never expected anything, but the organisers have shown appreciation for what I do by making me an Ambassador for the event and an award.
It's a wonderful feeling to be shown love for what you do and I am so greatful for having such a wonderful SFW Family that appreciates my time and passion.
