Učitel Majer je propuštěn z vězení na amnestii. K sobě do domu si ho bere jeho John Wick: Kapitola 4žák ze základní školy Ivan, jenž žije v romském ghettě. Majer nemá nikoho z rodiny. Nikdo mu nezbyl, a tak nabídku Ivana vítá. Ivan Majerovi sdělí, že se mu rozhodl pomoci především z důvodu, že potřebuje znovu otevřít školu, na které dříve Majer učil a chvíli ji vedl. Ivan žijící v ghettě zná problémy své komunity a ví, že zrušení jejich oblíbené školy jim neprospělo. Majer začíná oslovovat své bývalé kolegy a především žáky, aby mu pomohli. Řada jeho žáků má také svoje děti. S nimi zažívá řadu komických situací. Netuší ovšem, že ho stále sleduje Dostál, nejstarší z mafiánské rodiny který ví, že Majer byl propuštěn a rozhodne se pomstít svého syna i vnuka.

Jak si záhadný vrah vybírá další a další oběti, Loretta se pokouší pokračovat ve vyšetřování spolu s kolegyní a přítelkyní Jean Coleovou, avšak dvojice naráží na rozbujelý sexismus tehdejší doby. McLaughlinová a Coleová se přesto odvážně pouštějí do pátrání s velkým osobním rizikem a ve snaze odhalit pravdu riskují vlastní životy.

John Wick odhalí cestu, jak porazit Nejvyšší radu. Než se mu však podaří získat svobodu, musí čelit novému nepříteli, který má mocné spojence po celém světě. Bude to o to težší, že nová spojenectví mění staré přátele v nepřátele...
