I write about climate breakdown and social justice from the perspective of fantasy and folklore.
My first book is a philosophical look at climate change as inheritance in a classic Gothic setting. I'm working on an epic fantasy at the moment that explores themes surrounding displacement, colonialism and the trauma of war.
There are times when art is the only solace and times when art can find a way to phrase our deepest fears. We live in such times. I draw on old traditions to tell stories that reflect 21st-century issues in hope to add to the discourse and our understanding of those issues.
I live in Bristol in the UK, and I write promotional copy for bands. I love music and write songs for my friends. The video above is a song for two amazing scientists I know. When I'm not writing, I am dancing.
Thanks for taking a look at my page.
