As we head towards Christmas I just wanted to send a quick message out and say THANKS for all your support and good wishes this past year. It's been a jolly fun with Lemon Discos, Kaleidoscopes of Dancing Butterflies and Pop Up Boogie Unicorns, to name a few! Of course I was able to end off the year (as requested) with another outing of the Dancing Christmas Tree!
(we have raised £2799 online plus £454 in cash!).
Looking back I feel really proud and thankful that I was able to punctuate some quite tricky times with something ridiculous and fun for it's own sake, in particular for kids (and big kids!). Whilst there are many doomsday predictions for 2023, there is also the great positive unknown- for us to manifest our own moments and happenings. I sometimes say happiness is found in the cracks, in those times in between, in the breezes that flow. We need not always need a big plan, the big structure, sometimes it's just those moments we can create spontaneously, and with one another. This is what keeps us alive, our hearts ticking. With that in mind let us all make a plan to create as much joy and fun as is possible, in the cracks, those in between moments whenever we can! I know I will!
I am still visioning what that will be... will the Lemon resurface on the dreary days of January, will a new costume emerge, will new projects pop up in our libraries, will there be pop up events on your commute....??? Time will tell, and as inspiration strikes (once all Christmas cookies are consumed) I shall keep you posted.
