I majored in Theatre Arts. I didn’t write code or code software or take business exams. Instead, I was memorizing Shakespearean sonnets, dreaming up playful costume and makeup designs, and collaborating with creatives to evolve big ideas into great shows.

I plunged head-first into empathy: learning and understanding the deepest nuances of these intricate humans, these characters and cast members who were very different from me. Now, I help coach my clients to harness empathy as a key skill to enable them to build products both with and for other people.
