Two things:
1) You know what GED students struggle with? The non-calculator section of the GED. And the biggest challenge for them there is undefined expressions! They take one look at the ugly expressions featuring variables and panic, not realizing just how simple these problems can be if they understand one simple fact about fractions.
2) You know where GED students hang out nowadays? Tiktok. Why do you think they have no time for homework? Their phones keep them pretty busy. :P
Put those facts together and you'll understand why I'm excited about my newest example problem vid- a Tiktok on undefined expressions.
Check it out, have your students check it out, and have them follow Light & Salt on TikTok. They might as well learn something as they scroll!
