Gardening runs in my blood. Both sides of my family have been gardening for generations.
Even though I've always leaned towards putting my fingers in dirt, in 2016 I began formally learning about plants. In the years since, I've gained qualifications in horticulture, organic horticulture, NZ native plants, small farming and landscaping.
I usually put the skills I've picked up into both my own garden and the old heritage gardens I'm lucky enough to be employed to maintain. But here, I'm sharing what I know with you.
Monthly subscribers of this page will get help - and plants - for their own gardens. Take a look through my membership rewards and see if anything takes your interest.
If you'd just like to make a one-off donation, you can Buy Us A Tree by clicking '🤍 Support' on the right >>
When you buy a tree, you will literally be buying a tree. A native tree will be planted on your behalf at our property next winter.
In supporting this page, you're not just getting gardening tips. You're supporting our long-term goals of reforesting our steep beef-farm hills back into New Zealand native bush.
Please note - information provided in this page is generally most suited to gardeners in New Zealand, particularly the upper half and warmer regions.
Physical rewards are only able to be sent to New Zealand addresses.
