My family and I recently visited New Orleans for the first time. When I planned this trip last year, I didn't know that there would be many more changes, from work to the economy and everything in between. But, as I reflect, one thing remains true -- taking time to make future plans pays off. Indeed, we don't know what the future holds, but having hope gives us the strength to keep going and living fully.
If you've not found the value of planning breaks or moments that could fill your joy bucket, I want to encourage you to take a moment today to block off some time in the future for yourself (and your family.) It may just be what your future self will need, and you'll be so happy that you did.
