We will mourn together.
We will embrace together.
We will shed tears together.
We will sit in complete silence together.
We will stretch our hands towards the heavens in despair together.
We will walk through the darkness until we see the dawn of a new day together.
We will use our collective strength to make our way on this journey of grief together.
When we are on our grief journey and we get the courage to come out of the darkness, we don't want someone else to try and interpret what we are feeling. We are trying to process all that has changed in our lives. We need someone that can just listen to our story. We are unable to explain our grief at first. Because it's all jumbled up into little broken pieces. So someone just listening can help us to navigate the ups and downs, the back and forths, of our grief. It can help shed some light into this dark tunnel of despair.
