My name is Quasey Mcdonald and I am a spearfisherman here in a special little community in Jamaica called Long Bay. Spearfishing is an ancient method of fishing that I learned from my father and have since practiced as a way to make a living. 

As we approach hurricane season (June - November) here in Jamaica, we often experience heavy rains, high tides, and other unpredictable weather conditions which make it difficult to earn a living.
