Bastion Point is a hidden gem so let's take a walk here and explore sunken gardens and the reflection pool, the views and trees are fabulous and with its unique history I can promise this walk is very interesting. The spectacular Art Deco mausoleum is in memory of Michael Joseph Savage, a great Prime Minister who is entombed here (actually he was Australian) and New Zealanders loved him!
