We've been told the same thing all our life: go to school, go to university, get a job, and be successful. But the reality is, work is much more complicated than that. There is no "user manual" on how to navigate work life.
I struggled at my workplace. I often felt I didn't fit in. I was drowning and I hated my job. Not everyone is privileged enough to quit their job - I knew I wasn't.
I needed a safe space to vent. A place where I can take all my work frustrations and poke fun at them. One day while drinking some coffee, it randomly hit me. I saw this vision of a cartoon strip. something funny and something punchy. I had this unexplained feeling to draw it out. The rest is history.
Within 4 months, LL has outgrown what I initially thought it would. Today, LL isn't just a safe space for me, it's a place for anyone who feels they don't belong at work, to poke fun and feel they are not alone. It's a home more than a Twitter account.
Thank you for supporting me, I got tons of plans for LL but that requires time and money. I got the time, but I kinda need your money - see honesty! :) For the price of a cup of coffee, you get to be a monthly subscriber. But more than that, you get to play a part to make this world a little better.
No matter what, my vision will always be the same: "to uplift people to do better". Hold me accountable to it, call me out if you think I'm not living in line with it.
