I'm an author, speaker, Bible teacher, and host of the podcast, Far from Home with Mabel Ninan. An immigrant from India who has lived in seven cities across the U.S. in fourteen years, I can navigate between cultures, feeling at home everywhere and nowhere.
In my first book, Far from Home: Discovering Your Identity as Foreigners on Earth, I draw from my personal experience as an immigrant and examine the lives of biblical heroes to shed light on how we can find purpose and joy as sojourners on earth.
My goal is to walk alongside you on your faith journey and encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus. Through my podcast, I hope to encourage believers to think biblically about immigration and practice hospitality toward foreigners.
I love gazing at the full moon and napping on a sandy beach, whenever possible. I enjoy reading creative nonfiction, traveling, and dancing. But nothing gives me greater joy than having conversations about the Bible.
I'm currently pursuing M.A. in Theological Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I live in Silicon Valley with my husband, eleven-year-old son, and a Maltese.
