Learning a new language

Where to start?

Based on my experience I want to share to you some advices to start learning spanish or any language indeed, so you don't feel lost at all.

  1. In first place I try to know the most common verbs in my target language. This will help you to communicate even if you just know 5 or 10 words to say. I prefer to get familiar with eat, speak, sleep, learn, walk and so on. Btw if you learn the present tense in the first person singular is enough by now. The second step it's about learning to present yourself, the basic stuff (name, job, hobbies, country where you live, maybe why are you learning the language) this will help you start conversations and make a connection to ask for help maybe or get some feedback.

  2. Listen a lot. Every day ... I mean it, every single day. Try to find resources that you like, that you find interesting. Search something in your level in this way you won´t feel frustrated. If you like challenges later you can choose audios or more advanced videos.

  3. Use an app to learn tons of vocabulary. There are lots of them nowadays, I'm sure one of them will be useful for you.

  4. Listen to music and sing it, read short articles or mails but search the meaning of the words that you don't understand in an accurate translator.

  5. Fall in love. Yes! ... of your target language :) There aren´t just a bunch of words, it is a way to communicate, to learn about other lifestyles, culture, music, gastronomy, movies, poetry, travelling, everything. You're just about to discover other worlds and you probably get amazed with many facts, curiosities and understanding of your own language.

Are you ready? Let's Start Today! I'll help you to discover mexican culture and spanish issues.
