Let's start with the English language. This is the first year when children learn a foreign language. Tasks given in one day: First, underline the letters among the letters and sounds. Secondly, independently, compose a dialogue in English. And half of these words children do not yet know. And they have not yet gone through what the article is.
And a few days before that, on Friday, there was a task at home to read new words like: lake, can, etc., but they began to study closed and open syllables only on the next Monday. It seems to me that the tasks are given simply for the report and no one wants to teach children something. It's good that I know a little English and can help my daughter ๐
Then comes mathematics: now we are learning the multiplication table and the division table up to the number 5. And we are solving these problems (in my opinion, this is not mathematics, but geometry):
1. Take out the perimeter of triangle ABC .
2. In triangle ABC, sides AB and BC have the same length, equal to 5 decimeters (I have never seen or heard this unit used anywhere except for school problems), and side AC is 2 decimeters shorter than each of them. Calculate the perimeter of triangle ABC.
In my opinion, for the second grade it is too difficult ๐ .
In addition to these subjects, there is also the Russian language, literature, conversations about the important (where politics is discussed), fine arts, technology where they mold from plasticine and do crafts, and physical education.
