I’m Malinda Perera, a Sri Lankan comedian currently based in Vienna, Austria. My stand-up journey began here in 2016, and things took off pretty quickly. Originally from Sri Lanka, I’ve also lived in Malaysia and moved to Austria to complete a master’s in Business Informatics. But in 2019, while working as a university researcher, I decided to take a leap and pursue comedy full-time—no looking back!
In 2021, I moved to Dublin to push my career even further and, after three years, found my way back to Vienna. Since my first time on stage, I’ve loved sharing my unique inter-cultural experiences, performing and headlining across 25+ countries in Europe.
