From the pruned branches of our cherry tree I found the most straight ones and cut them in 35 cm lengths. First I removed the bark with a sharp knife holding it always away from me!
Then I scored them about 5 cm from either side and started to carve away the tips. That's where you tie your stick to your waist and another one to a tree.
At the end you just sand them until their surface is very very smooth.
Don't forget to wear gloves!
