Welcome to 2021! How is it feeling for you already? From what I understand, January will start out quiet at first as we all continue to process 2020 and everything we went through. It's almost as if the entire world is exhaling after holding our breath for so long right now. Do you feel that? The first week or two of January will be a tender, quiet time but once we get into the second half of the month, there will be some excitement.
Mars is finally moving out of Aries, the sign of the warrior, and into Taurus, the sign of the bull. What do you think of when you think of a bull? Bulls are usually very slow to move but when they get angry, WATCH OUT! When a bull is angry there is no stopping it and it will attack anything in it's path. Mars being in Taurus will be a better placement, but when the planet Uranus comes into the picture there will be shocking and sudden changes. Uranus is the planet of electric energy and brings unexpected things with it.
Mars enters Taurus on January 7th and it will conjunct Uranus in Taurus on January 21st (which also happens to be right after the United States Presidential Inauguration). So don't be surprised if by the third week or end of January we see disruptions, tempers flaring, people fighting, and shocking events happening. I know, how much more can we take right? Well, don't worry. From what I understand, January will be the most intense month of 2021, so let's just do our best to breathe through it and remain calm.
Remember that often we have to kick up a lot of dust in the process of changing and cleaning out house. 2020 was really the year of kicking up dust and looking at the shadows and the darkness in our systems that needed fixed. Thankfully we are just about done with that and now we are getting to the "sweeping the dust out of the house" phase. We are ready to throw out the old negative patterns and start rebuilding! It's a lot of work but an exciting time of possibilities!
