If Islam opposes idol worship, why do Muslims pray to a square structure? Do Muslims real

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

All praises belong to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. I bear witness that nothing has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).

Allah ordered Adam to build Al-Kabah to be the first house of Allah in Makkah. Then Allah ordered Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael to rebuild Al-Kabah. Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) said:

Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds. [Quran 3:96]

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing. [Quran 2:127]

Indeed Al-Kabah was the first house for the believers to worship Allah. Similarly, other mosques have been built for Muslims everywhere to worship Allah. Allah made Al-Kabah a qiblah (direction) of prayer for Muslims everywhere. Therefore, Muslims circle around Al-Kabah and pray either in front of it or far from it to worship Allah. When Muslims circumambulate around Al-Kabah, the utter: ''Lā ilāha illallāh'' means ''there is no true god worthy of worship but Allah''.

Allah(Glorified and Exalted be He) said:

We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid alHaram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do. [Quran 2:144]

Dr. Zakir naik said:

'' In olden times, the call to prayer was given by standing on the top of Al-Kabah. If Muslims were idol worshippers, would they stand on top of their 'idol' and call people to pray? does a Hindu ao a Christian stand on top of their idols and call others to join in the worship''

In Fact, worshipping other deities like idols is the worst sin in Islam. Monotheism is the foundation of Islam and its most important concept which can not be compromised in any way. Islam acknowledges the complete perfection, greatness, and uniqueness of God with absolutely no compromises. Not only is God acknowledged as the sole creator and sustainer of everything in existence, But Islam declares that He is the only true deity and He alone is worthy to be worshipped.

The black stone came from paradise and it is located in one of the corners of Al-Kabah. Allah ordered Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and Muslims to kiss it when they circle around Al-Kabah. Therefore, it is not worshipped but Muslims kiss it to fulfill the order of Allah. The second Caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) after Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), kissed the black stone and then said:

''I know that you're a stone which neither benefits nor harms and if I did not see Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), kissing you I would not Kiss you.''

O, Dear Muslim, Allah is the creator and Allah created us to worship Him. Allah Almighty has set forward some foundations of submission so that we can worship in the manner that pleases Him. So as to perform the acts of worship so perfectly, a Muslim should learn what leads to the perfection of your performance of these various acts of worship, such as Prayer, Fasting, Zakaah, and Hajj. Being a perfect Muslim, a Muslim should gain knowledge about the acts of worship, beliefs, transactions, and manners.
