Hex And The City is a thrilling addition to the Canadian Werewolf series by authors Mark Leslie & Julie Strauss. As a standalone, it captivates readers with its paranormal adventure, even though I wish I had read the first five books to fully appreciate the backstory. Despite feeling a bit lost initially, the story grew on me after the first few chapters, and I got a general gist of it.
One of the highlights of the book is the well-crafted relationship between Michael & Gail and their interactions with other characters, which drew me in and kept me engaged. The plot is masterfully woven, offering a great mix of fantasy, magic, and werewolves that satisfied my Werewolf-loving heart (I can't help but blame Taylor Lautner for that!). Moreover, the inclusion of certain elements added a unique flavour to the narrative, making it even more captivating.
Hex And The City is undoubtedly a good book, but my eagerness to read the earlier books in the series grows stronger. I'm sure immersing myself in the full series will provide a more comprehensive and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely update my review once I've delved into the world of Canadian Werewolves from the beginning!
