Create my own soothing sensory self care kit
Sensory self care can be about managing sensory overwhelm through avoidance, muffling and softening approaches. It can also mean adding a sensory boost so we can concentrate or get stuff done.
Our sensory needs are very personal and being able to meet them can enable us to take part in life; social occasions, work, eating, sleeping and so we can carry out other self care practices.
This 8 page guide will help you build your own tool kit, that works for you. You'll see there are some examples provided but it's also editable so you can add your own.
There's also a super simple page at the end you can print off, fill in by hand if you prefer and stick somewhere prominent to remind you!
Happy soothing,
Mel x
