Hi channel members,
Shoutout to Lucy who was working on this last week, today's vid is a little talk-through of the process for building up left foot hi-hat playing 8th notes (assuming it is your left foot playing the hi-hat in your case!). This is a classic sound that really increases options for driving our grooves along and taking them through various levels in a song. Bringing the left foot into play effectively adds a whole other instrument into our groove palette.
And as a bonus for you as channel member's here's a vid from a while back discussing the left foot hi-hat technique I'd use in different musical situations:
Cheers! Have fun, and as ever please give me a shout if any questions or if I can help in any way :)
