Shoutout to Tom who was working on this in his session today - Here's a nice, simple fill played by Phil Collins on "Hang In Long Enough", the opener on 1989's "...But Seriously"
Like I say in the vid, I love taking inspiration from these little moments and assimilating them into our own playing. This is really a very simple idea but can sound great on uptempo, groove-based tracks like this.
