Last Friday , we finally got our reservations to this beautiful serene meditation shrine - SELF REALIZATION FELLOWSHIP LAKE SHRINE. We’ve been planning to visit this place last year but with no focus , it was completely forgotten . Then this Jan , we tried to checked their website and found out we need to make reservations online to visit and it gets sold out pretty fast each week ! No entrance fee but donations are welcome ..so worth it if you are in a meditative and grateful mood 👼🙏.
When you enter the shrine , they brief you with instructions and then you are free to be on your own . You can take photos as long as it’s for personal use .
First thing to see when you enter the Lake Shrine grounds is the Court of Religions . Each of the five principal religions of the world is represented by a monument that represents its symbol.

As Paramahansa Yogananda said “ We must recognize the unity of mankind remembering that we are all made in the image of God . There must be world brotherhood if we are to be able to practice the true art of living . He also pointed out that while dogma’s may differ , the goal of every religion is the same - - direct experience of God.
