I thought I would share some examples of my Miss Meatface Polaroid photography so you can see what you will be helping me to continue to create with your donations towards film! Why do I enjoy using vintage Polaroid cameras for my work? I adore the old family photo snapshot quality they have, and the fact that each one is a unique moment captured in time on that one rectangular sheet of film makes them extra special. My "go-to" vintage Polaroid cameras are the Polaroid 600 Impulse and the Polaroid Spectra. Sadly, Polaroid recently decided to stop manufacturing the Spectra film so I have a very limited amount left to shoot with, but thankfully Polaroid continues to make the 600 film that I use with the Impulse. For the past 4 or so years I've been working with Circa Press in London to produce a beautiful coffee table book featuring a hand-picked selection of my Polaroid photographs which is set to be published later in 2022 so stay tuned!
