Practice makes practice

Practice makes practice

Circles are a practice.

And practice makes practice.

Our capacity as a circle holder ebbs and flows with life, with experience, with the weather!

We won’t always feel like showing up.

We won’t always feel like holding space.

We won’t always feel like sharing.

If we can hold the tension between understanding the power of Circles AND not always wanting to hold them, we can deepen our capacity for compassion, for acceptance and for curiosity.

Not wanting to hold your upcoming Circle is not a sign you shouldn’t be holding circles.

Perhaps it’s an invitation to meet another part of you, an opportunity to dance with a shadow, a chance to reflect on your circle journey so far, a doorway to imagine the possible unfolding of your circle path.

Each circle holder and each circle contributes to the interconnectedness of our communities and offers us a guided path through healing and transformation individually and collectively.

Every time we have the willingness and courage to call folks in to our circles, we liberally and generously share our courage and willingness with those that join.

And every person who gathers with us brings a quality that they contribute to the shared space. In this way, the ripple effect of each circle is activated.

When you don’t feel like it, tend to yourself and show up anyway! I once held an online Circle that only one person came to; it was deep medicine for us both.

I see you and I promise you, the collective will benefit from your Circles.
