We have moved from Merida to San Cristobal! And it has been such a change!
I always search for the next thing that will take me out of my comfort zone.
I love growth!
I love learning!
I love new!
But my body and subconscious doesn’t always agree!
So a lot of “me time” is needed to retain my cheery disposition 😂
What changed…
We didn’t get an Airbnb, we got a hotel for two days and had to apartment search in a completely new place fast and not knowing if we would be accepted for a short stay…
We came to a place that has more cultural diversity, that requires more learning and investing time in people and learning a new language that is only used in this area of the world…
This place also has a reputation for not being as safe, specially for women. So, we have to be more cautious as we explore…
And everything has gone smoothly…
Perfectly…
But…
I still needed time to adjust to the little things…
Figure out what makes me and the girls feel at home…
And adjust accordingly…
Nonetheless, I have been told I have been grumpy, so I will probably need more “me time” 😂🤷🏼♀️
