#Soundtrack - Sueña (Spanish version of 'Someday') - #LuisMiguel - #TheHunchbackOfNotreDame
The Hunchback of Notre Dame was one of many #Disney movies that I didn't see it on movie theatre. In fact, I saw this movie in 2009 which is 13 years after its release. Back in the day, it was really difficult to get this movie. Many rentals didn't even have it. If it does, it was the sequel. The movie also disappeared quickly from the movie theatre back in 1996. I guess it's not really as popular as The Lion King.
I love the animation of this movie. All details was done beautifully. The detail inside the #NotreDame such as stained glass, #Gargoyle, the bell, it's really gorgeous.
As for the soundtrack, although perhaps it's not as memorable as other Disney movies, it is one of Disney' soundtrack that I can listen from track 01 to the end without any skip. Usually they put all the songs in the front and then continue with musical score and then the end title. But The Hunchback's soundtrack is arranged mostly following the movie sequence and I prefer this kind of track arrangement.
The gorgeous choir during 'The Bells of Notre Dame', the festive 'Topsy Turvy', the emotional 'Out There', and the hopeful 'God helps the Outcast'. The score ranged from the lighter one to the darkest one such as during movie climatic scenes. It's a very solid soundtrack.
For this video, I did the Spanish version of #Someday by Luis Miguel. Honestly I like this version better than the original (Nothing against the original of course) because it feels grander particularly when the background vocals appears on the song. Before, I thought it was a word to word translation from the original, but as we check on the translation, the song title means 'Dream'. Dream for goodness and love will be reborn.
