​Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival are bringing a "Wee Bit o’ Scotland" to the Northeast Florida area. Each year residents of Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas gather and enjoy the athletics, music, food and fun of the games.

The Games continue to grow and reflect the deep connections and effects the Scots and their descendants have had on the United States as well as Northeast Florida in particular. As always our event will be held the last Saturday of February, the games will be held at: ​

2497 State Road 16 West, Green Cove Springs, FL.

The festival will begin at 9 AM and run until 10PM.

Description:

Come enjoy a wee bit oScotland at a family-focused Scottish cultural event with interests for all ages. Ongoing events include Scottish Bagpipe bands, Scottish Dog and other animal exhibits, Scottish Dancing, Genealogy, Childrens Games, Heavy Scottish Athletics, Scottish and other Celtic Music, Scottish and American Food and much more. Competitions Begin 9:00AM Opening Ceremonies 12:00PM (Noon) Closing Ceremonies 5:00PM Scottish Musical Evening 6:00PM

Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival are bringing a "Wee Bit o’ Scotland" to the Northeast Florida area. Each year residents of Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas gather and enjoy the athletics, music, food and fun of the games. There will be bagpipe and drumming competitions, Highland dancing, a Tartan parade, “caber toss”, the hammer throw, weight for height, sheaf toss, stone throw, and more. Admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the gate the day of the event. Children under 10 are admitted for free. The festival runs from 9am until 5pm – with additional entertainment planned until 10pm. Parking is free.

We’re bringing a “Wee Bit o’ Scotland to Ya.” Each year residents of NE Florida and the surrounding areas gather and enjoy the athletics, Celtic dancing, Live Scottish Bands, Marching Bagpipe Bands, food and fun of the Scottish Games. The Games continue to grow and reflect the deep connections and effects the Scots and their descendants have had on the U.S. as well as N.E. Florida in particular. Gaelic, Scottish & Highlands dance ensembles; Bagpipes, Fiddles & Drums, Archery, Axes and Curling Games; Whiskey Tasting & Beer Garden; Kilted Golf and Scottish History & Genealogy plus Shetland Ponies, Shetland Sheep Dogs, Clydesdales and Great Scot Re-enactors and more. Lunch on your own at the Festival. Enjoy a Pint at the Beer Garden and have a great time!

DUE TO MEDICAL REASONS, NO BOARDING BUS WITH PERFUME OR COLOGNE! YOU WILL BE DENIED BOARDING AND NO REFUND GIVEN! If you normally wear perfume we kindly ask that you wear freshly cleaned clothing as sometimes it remains on your clothes. This policy is strictly enforced!
