A quick note: I just got fired and it gives me a reason to think a lot and do something by my hands. So the million times in a row I decided to try to make varenyky again!
It is an easy dish. Everyone can make it! But not me. Three years in a row I tried to do it. Again and again. Can you imagine my stubbornness?
Christmas Eve is coming. Varenyky is one of the traditional dishes for the Evening. So I had an idea to have a very traditional table for this holiday. So I decided to try again! "What if I'll do it this time?", - was one of my thought and I started the process. At one moment my dad called me:
Nastya: "Can you imagine? I tried to do it million times and I couldn't!"
Dad: "You'll do it on a million first time. Just don't stop!"
It happened! My Dad was right! I did it for the million first time! I don't know, maybe next time it will be a mess, not varenyky, but for now, I am so proud of myself.
