So...

Dec 06, 2022

I am chilling in an anti-radiation bomb shelter. It's so deep that it does not have cell connection. But it has a generator, heating and 5G WiFi. I'm charging my phone and checking the news.

The situation since yesterday is fucking awful. Odesa region suffered the most. The power turned on, then 10 min later there were around 8 explosions, it blinked and went off. With it, went heating, cell connection, and water. I had a breakdown and wept for hours. I couldn't even find out if the air raid was over because I had no connection, and air raid alarms weren't working, too. I dared to stick my nose out to see if it was over and learned that it's been over for 40 min by that point.

The water supply was restored around 2 am. Satisfied by that sign that things are being done, l went to bed and slept pretty well actually. In the morning I knew I had no chance of getting any power today. I charged my phone a little bit in a cafe, met some people, ate two HUUUUUGE custard tots. Then went for a walk with a friend. Then came here to have some more work done and charge the phone some more.

(Ok, by the time I'm done typing this, the generator ran out of gas, and I'm back home again.)

I will survive this. Russia will fall. And I will never have to deal with this scum of a country again.

(Now imagine me waving my phone around on the balcony again to try and send this post.)
