Hello everyone!

My relationship with painting, visual art, drawing, and even myself is changing drastically as the weeks go by.

I look at this painting and although there are a pile of things I could criticize, there are many aspects I love and many things that feel right. In general, I feel like I am allowing more space for opposing beliefs and opinions to exist on one matter, not letting just one of those opinions usurp my whole judgement on the matter. Can anything be just black or just white?

I recently read that Van Gogh did 26 versions of Starry Night and I think this scene is one that will have many variations for me as well. This painting is currently on an 8x10 in canvas, and I would like to get it on a 60x70in and see how it feels to create that.
