Waitangi Waterfall

Waitangi Waterfall from the Omeru Reserve north of Auckland. This was for a time, one of my favourite places to photograph streams and waterfalls. It was easy to get to before work, if I left early enough. It was a nice way to start the day. Some forest birds singing while I composed and shot a series of pictures, camera on my tripod. Then back to work in time for a coffee at the work day.

NZ waterfalls in have a lot of green hues with the surrounding vegetation. It's a function of our our unique native forests.
