Greetings and Salutations!

Nov 21, 2021

Hello Friends,

Happy Saturday! It's a Saturday evening, and I am sitting here in my living room at my little card table (my big work desk is behind me) and I'm sipping some tea and listening to the Touré show (The Susannah Melvoin - I Loved Prince episode).

I went to the BMO Lights Festival this evening after an afternoon of Jiu Jitsu training, and I'm now spending the remainder of the evening working on backline work of the podcast.

Off The Beaten Podcast has been a passion project since Day 1. I love it. I love working on it, I love recording conversations with all of these awesome personalities, I don't love the editing so much, but I do it, and I love hearing people talk about the podcast, as well as ask questions and dig deeper into things.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have supported the podcast, some of you since Day 1. Believe it or not, every dollar you all have given towards the podcast helps. Whether it is for small things like a headphone splitter so both me and my guest can hear each other, or if it's for big things like podcast hosting and the other things needed to keep the podcast running from day to day that cost some fee.

While I never set out to create a podcast to make money, I would love for the podcast to reach a point to be self sufficient. I mean, if I could one day create a podcast for a living and be able to pay all of my bills, hell yeah I would jump on that, but that's not the goal. The goal is to uplift Chicago and the amazing people in this city, and you all make that possible. Thank you!

Over the next few months, I hope to create an avenue for those of you who would like to support the podcast on a monthly basis, and in exchange I'll offer you some cool ish. It's all something I'm working on, so please keep your ears to the ground for that. In the meantime, thank you, and please, remember every dollar counts, so if you find yourself with a few dollars spare, please feel free to drop me a cup of coffee.

Thank you for listening, thank you for supporting, and I hope you'll continue to hang on for the ride. Kudos!!!
