You don’t need to be great to get started.

May 13, 2023

You don't need to be great to get started, but you need to start to be great.

Wise words.

Today I attended another property investment training and one of the takeaways was the message above.

I don't know who said that (apart from Kevin McDonnell) it makes total sense, unless you're a doctor.

How many people dream to have their own business but keep postponing because they think they need a bunch of skills, money and resources before getting started.

NOT TRUE

In many cases the most important is to get started.

If you aspire to be surrounded tattoo artist, you can start small, you don't need to become one of the best before you get your first client.

If you aspire to become a hairdresser, you don't need to be great to bet started.

If you want to invest in property, you don't need to know everything before you buy your first property.

The important is that you make a decision and take the first step.

The Problem That's Stopping You

Do you believe in yourself?

Do you truly believe that you can do it?

Tony Gargan said today that there are two types of people:

RADIATORS & DRAINS

Radiators provide heat. They motivate you, help you and get you energised.

Drains suck everything out of you, are negative and don't believe in you.

What type of people are you surrounded with? You need to have at least 2 radiators for every drain.

Disclaimer: Not sure if these were her words, but you get the idea.

The Solution That Helps You Thrive

Surrounded yourself with people that believe in you.

Don't let anyone make you feel less than what you're worth.

If your friends don't support you and are negative about your aspirations, you're hanging out with the wrong people.

Start networking and investing in yourself.

Connect with like-minded people and good things will come your way.
