As on Facebook and other platforms, here you will also have the possibility to add a cover photo. Take advantage of this space!

You can make this cover photo as extravagant or simple as you like, but it's important that it reflects the spirit of your brand. It will be the first thing your visitors will see, so try to get their attention.

Here's a guide on how you can get started if you don't have a graphic designer. Remember that YouTube recommends uploading images of 2560 x 1440 pixels with a maximum of 2MB.Know your Market, Know your Content

If you have a complicated product and you want to make your visitors learn more about it, we recommend you try the tutorial videos, they can be great for you! Do you want toshow the reviews of your past clients? Give testimonial videos a try.

You can do both, the content you can create using videos is endless. Make the most of it! It is important that you understand who you want to communicate with so that you can choose the best way to communicate with them. You should create content that is targeted to your audience according to their demographics.

Lights, Camera, Trailer!

Just as you can define the design of your channel, you can also choose your trailer. These are short videos and are an introduction to the type of content you have on your channel. You can make yourself known to your audience, tell what your business is about or even put news there.

Upload your First Video (Official)

IF you got to this point, you probably did a lot of searching on your first video, and if you already uploaded your trailer you've been practicing quite a bit too. Now it was time to say "action."

Once you have finished filming and editing your video, you have to upload it. You can find the button to upload it in the upper right part of the screen. But don't sing victory yet ...

Optimize for Search

When uploading a video, you will have to write its title, description and tags. These are essential components so that your video can be easily found in YouTube search, don't forget them!

As well as the SEO of your website, YouTube has its own parameters so that you can optimize your video for search. Complete these lines using keywords for your business and a correct description of what you do.

If your video is well optimized for YouTube, it will also be well optimized for other search engines. In case you didn't know, YouTube is a Google product, so if you play your cards right, you can have an important place in both.

Stay Consistent

You can't expect success if you upload a video to your channel and then forget about it. Making your YouTube channel successful takes time and effort and your subscribers will always be waiting for new content from you. So plan content several weeks in advance.

Not sure if you can film every week? No problem! Pick a day on your calendar and shoot multiple videos on the same day to have content beforehand.

Integrate your Channel with your Social Networks and Website

You have a website and now also a YouTube channel. Cool! The time has come to share your videos outside of YouTube and your website should be the first station. Here are some ways to display your video on your website:

  • Center: You spent hours putting together your amazing videos, so why not take advantage of them? Add your video to the main page of your site and it will be the first thing your visits will see.

YouTube would not be what it is today if it had not created such a strong community that shares and watches its content.

You also have to create a community on your channel, and establishing a relationship with your visitors is a very important step. Answer comments, ask questions, and listen (or read) what they have to say.

Think Invest

Are you ready to take your channel to the next level? At some point you'll want to take a look at YouTube ads to take your brand even further. If you don't know where to start, there is a ton of information available to you.
