Back in March, when we had to cancel the event for the National Societies & Volunteering Awards, we worried about how everyone would feel not having a lovely event to go to.
We saw that the organisations, networks and associations in Student Opportunities were all cancelling and postponing their events too.
That's where the idea for the Student Opportunities Festival came from. Since then, we've gathered everyone together and met weekly (if not more!) with a 17-strong team of people to pull of the Festival.
