Thank you so much for writing this blog! It got me to buying Piofiore as my first otome ever and following your recommendations, playing through NightShade, Collar x Malice and currently Cafe Enchante. Unfortunately, I always find myself dissatisfied with the LIs, I guess I have different tastes then the target group? The only one that really hit home for me was Yang throughout all the games listed above, and maybe Sasazuka gets an honorable mention. Most LIs are just either "He's a nice guy" or "He's X, but actually a nice guy" and I find myself really annoyed with that, because it is not my fantasy >.< However, can you recommend any games that maybe have more naughty not-just-nice LIs like Yang?
Hi Connychwan, thank you so much for your support! Oh another Yang fan like myself! Hi! *waves* 🙋🏼♀️ Yang is such a rare and unique character so it’s pretty hard to find someone exactly like him in otome games. The closest character I can probably think of who *kinda* resembles his character is Ron Muroboshi from Norn9 (psvita). I enjoy these type of LI’s myself. A few of my fav chars that’re a lil bit in the problematic side are: -Mejojo (Black Wolves Saga) -Ukyo (Amnesia Memories) -Kazama (Hakuoki) Another character that’s pretty cutthroat was Demento in Period Cube but unlike Yang, he didn’t have any redeeming qualities that made him likeable so I didn’t wanna include him on the list lol. Also, a lot of LI’s in Diabolik lovers are pretty naughty (they’re bad af) and if you enjoyed Sazasuka’s character, Subaru might be up your alley! 😊 Feel free to shoot me an email if you have questions.
