Hi 👋🏻 thanks for visiting!
If you are a follower, you will know since adopting my daughter in 2007 I’ve been on an incredible journey learning all about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). As my daughter got older I started looking for stories of other caregivers but there were very few. So in 2014 I began to share our journey on a blog to let other caregivers know they weren’t alone.
I also became more active advocating for awareness and support for individuals. All in my spare time. In 2017 I created a series of 99 infographics about FASD. Until that point there were very few graphics with concise information. I asked the Red Shoes Rock team (which was all volunteer) if they’d be interested in sharing. They were. Each year the information is updated and revised.
In addition to the blog, which is ad-free, (as I personally do not like navigating sites filled with ads), I also share information on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. All of this on my own. I enjoy providing the information but it is an investment of time to make sure it is quality and from reliable sources. This is where you come in.
If you’ve been a fan and found what I share to be of value, you can now buy me a coffee! Each coffee ensures I have time to dedicate to my passion of sharing information. I’m not out to promote myself, but to promote understanding and awareness of FASD so that caregivers are informed and know where to go to get more information.
If you are here for the 2023 Caregiver Routine Reset THANK YOU! Your first email will arrive January 1st.
