Thank you all for your support. I have not seen the kitten in a week. Rory comes every 2 or 3 days and lets me pet her. She did try to nip at me. Seems she is afraid of a hand being in front of her. I was a few inches away and letting her sniff my hand but she reacted with fear first. She did not break any skin and immediately panicked as was afraid I would do something. I just said NO loudly and then kept talking in a calm voice. She calmed down and then came to me and bumped my side to get petted again. She did try , again, to come into the kitchen but not yet. She has to get more used to me and let me really handle her and pick her up without fear. She did let me put a dose of flea medicine on her again. That is thanks to all of you as it covered the costs of that medicine for her and The Doctor.
