Meditation on Passion Choral, Op. 3 | Ausra Motuzaite-Pinkeviciene | Hauptwerk Martinikerk

This gentle composition is set to the tune "O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden", known with the text "O Sacred Head Now Wounded". The tune is presented in the right hand with a solo registration and accompanied by swinging motion chords in the left hand and leaps in the pedals. There is a recurring ritornello between chorale phrases which holds entire piece together. It will be suitable to perform for Lent and any occasion where meditative music is required - Communion, Vespers, Compline etc. I'm playing it on Hauptwerk Martinikerk Groningen sample set.
